The hustle of travel is normally associated with long security lines, waiting at the gate and flying for hours to your destination. Imagine an airport though, where people are encouraged to play the piano, experience the ambiance of professional musicians who are paid to perform there, enjoy beautiful artwork and pet one of 60+ Animal Ambassador Pets. There’s even a 42 seat mock aircraft cabin where service animals can be trained to board flights and a “Hidden Disabilities Sunflower Program” for people who would like assistance at the airport, while maintaining the privacy of their condition. The program began in England and is now recognized at airports around the world.
Join Jennifer and Katie as they speak to these initiatives and other ways the Airport Foundation MSP has helped the Minneapolis St. Paul airport become an award winning place for passengers, employees, vendors and more.
