At the International Symposium on Pediatric Neuro-Oncology in Hamburg, Germany, I interacted with hundreds of healthcare providers from all over the world, including neuroscientists, neurosurgeons, neuro-oncologists, nurse practitioners and more. The symposium afforded me the ability to share the real life stories and science of my book, while learning about practices in other countries as well. In doing so, our aim was to help reduce sedation rates of patients, improve the experience of caregivers with compassion fatigue, and potentially lower the liability of hospitals. My book also applies to people outside the healthcare industry and is available in countries such as Australia, England, France, Germany, India, Italy, Japan, Singapore, Spain, Sweden, the United States and more.
